the second day
july 16. it was 10.13 in the morning and i was sitting in the living room, trying to send a sms to my ex-colleague. suddenly i felt something ... an earthquake!
a 6.7 magnitude earthquake strucked off Niigata, a prefecture on the northwestern japanese coast.
and it triggered an automatic shutdown of the nuclear power plant in kashiwazaki after a small fire at the plant's electrical transmission facility shortly after the quake.
hope everything will be alright.

i saw on the tv that the refugees have been moved to the new houses. glad to hear that!
